Description
This was a piece I started ealier this year, but finished much later. It is one of the most memorable moments for me from Voltron. When I was a kid I had this episode recorded on Betamax (not kidding folks) and I watched it over and over again. I'm pretty sure I still have that Beta tape, but heaven knows I'll probably never be able to play it again. lolRelated content

That's one of the few robeasts that actually lasted most of the episode instead of arriving attacking and get sliced in two.

Lovely work. Not only detailed but also a back shot and those are rare.

As much as I loved this show as a kid, was I the only one who reached a point where whenever they sent a new robot monster after him I would start saying "Its not going to work, it never works, try something else!"

I remember the 'iron cyclops' - he was one of my favorite Robeasts because he was a straight-out warrior as opposed to the more despicable Robeasts that spent more time attacking weaker targets or eating people; a true fighter...though knowing my luck there's probably some unused footage from "Go-Lion" to discourage that thinking.

Man, I remember when Beta tapes of Voltron was all I could find, so I feel you, man. I love this pic--the perspective is awesome and you so rarely see a back shot of the combined mech, so this is kinda special just for that/
Awesome work, man! Good to see you posting stuff again!

Man....I like this picture but I can't seriously get used to the name Voltron. (I'm more of a Japanese Original Fan)
