Description
Meet Gaea, the only known goddess in TF Lore, and the long lost sister of Primus and Unicron. Not much is known about her, but she was featured in a couple stories for the Transformers Collector's Club magazine. There, she was presented as being the Classics Universe's version of Earth, as well as the source of rarified Energon, much liked how Dark Energon comes from Unicron and regular Energon comes from Primus.However, when she was attacked by the Shattered Glass version of Primus, she teleported her human population to another universe's Earth and shed her earthy shell, revealing herself as she transformed into her robot mode. She then helped to take down the dark version of the Order-Bringer. When the SG Primus was defeated, Gaea transformed and reformatted her alternate mode into a new Cybertron to serve as a home for the joint forces of heroic Autobots and the Shattered Glass Decepticons.
For this, I used Animated Elita-1 as a basis. Next up, an obscure newcomer to the mythos who also serves as a version of Earth, Atlas.

Hopefully, though I'd rather not have her be Earth, or any of the TF gods be Earth for that matter. For me, that just raises too many questions.

It's ironic that Unicron is Earth in Prime and Bayformers though, lol. Guess he took his sister's ideas before she could manifest herself in those continuities...

The funny thing is that, in the real world, the whole "Unicron is Earth" thing may have been the inspiration for Gaea and Atlas. I would welcome it if she was canon, just not so big on her or her siblings being the true nature of Earth.
Besides, the whole "Unicron is Earth" thing creates a whole number of problems, not the least of which is how life can form around the Avatar of Destruction, or the ramifications of having Earth's core be the Cybertronian equivalent of Satan.

Oh? So you don't like the idea of Earth being a planet manifestation of Transformers gods at all? Though yea, I can see that... I mean, even as praised as Transformers Prime is (while Bayformers is obviously not), people still had issues with Unicron being Earth...and I can't say I disagree with these sentiments. I got mixed feelings on it too.
Indeed, lol. Unicron is the Transformers equivalent of the Devil. So...would that actually make humanity and other Earthlings actual 'devil-spawn' then? XD Don't answer that, it was a rhetorical joke question...

Yeah, I love TFP, but even that had its problems that could use fixing (then again, most continuities do).
Yeah, I get what you mean by the joke. On a more serious note regarding the idea, and I mentioned this to a friend a while back, realistically speaking there would be a lot of backlash from both the humans and the Cybertronians. Some humans would probably be in denial of it, while others would worship the big U due to the whole "god in the Earth" aspect of it. Cybertronians on the other hand...there would probably be a faction that wanted to wipe out humanity due to the implication of us being the "spawn of the Chaos-Bringer," since he's their version of Satan.

And let's not forget to mention that Prime would've ended much differently, and has lots of cancelled ideas behind its production...but that's another story for another day. But speaking of some of the problems we DID see...I'd say it was the whole Unicron thing too. But also...the designs on some of the Transformers too. But I won't start about that now either...
Worship Unicron or not, those humans will learn very quickly that the 'Big U' doesn't give a frack about them and will want to kill them all off lol. This is a problem with many religions, in fact. But I won't get into a rant about THAT now, either 
In regards to Unicron...I think the best animated interpretation of him was in Armada. And I think that was the best TF Japanese show too, it's one of my personal favorites. But you know what is said about opinions...

Yeah, the way Unicron was handled was a problem with the show, amongst plenty of others.
Hence why I would avoid having Unicron be Earth's core in the first place.

Yup. But my main annoyance within the show was Starscream's design (and I'm not the first to despise it). Just...wtf is up with that frame of his?! I understand the reasons behind that drastic design change, but just...no. Understanding doesn't mean acceptance, and Starscream is usually almost always my favorite in Transformers. But in this show...nope. Not really a fan of him always getting the poor treatment he did, either...so there's that too. I grew used to these things about him, but it doesn't mean I have to like them. At least he was given dignity in SOME way in his other versions.

I found it badass especially when I was a kid watching that show, Unicron finally pops up in all his glory and then everyone went against him lol. Good times for me, yessss...

To be honest, I was a bit more indifferent to Starscream's design in this version, although I can understand why other people might not like it. I did like his personality in TFP, as it fits the character to a T.
I do like the idea of Unicron appearing and everyone having to work together to defeat him as well.

Ok thanks for understand why. I think his TFP personality is still not exactly like his original G1 personality (but I'm not saying it's a bad thing, just that I don't think it's a complete T). Idk, it just felt...different to me. Perhaps it's because he's also physically so much weaker in TFP, and that also factored into the differences between these two versions in my eyes.
Glad you agree, not to mention that it's badass seeing it happen this way for the first time. In the G1 movie, the Cons and Bots don't exactly join forces to defeat their Unicron. In Armada, everyone did join together.

Well, despite his comeuppances, Prime Starscream did display more competency and cleverness than his G1 counterpart as well as some awareness of his situation, whereas G1 Starscream always made himself obvious.

Thanks. And yeah, there is a tiny bit of Egyptian in her appearance, although she's named after a Greek goddess, which is kind of appropriate since, you know, Mother Earth and all that. However, if I were writing a story with all of these gods in them, I wouldn't have any of them be Earth.

Yeah, and in the Shattered Glass universe, there actually is a good version of Unicron, although he's not the center of any planet except his regular alt mode.
