Description "And somewhere, in the Northwoods darkness, a creature walks upright.  And the best advice you may ever get is don't go out at night." - Steve Cook, "The Legend"

And here's my take on a werewolf.  As you might know from my Werewolf Preferences pic, I prefer the kind of werewolf that is beast-like, yet walks on two legs, so that's what I used for the basic structure.  The face is modeled after photos I saw of snarling wolves, and the coat is mostly based on that of a North American grey wolf, which has most of its dark fur on its back.

Originally, I was just going to have the wolf by himself, but I decided that a background of some kind would be more interesting.

The quote comes from a song called "The Legend" by Steve Cook, which may or may not have kickstarted the urban legend of the Michigan Dog Man, where people had sightings of large, half-man, half-dog/wolf creatures roaming around at night, though Cook and his partner originally made the song as a sort of April Fools joke.  You can listen to the 2007 version of the song here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwYWsl…

If you want something a bit more peppy, you can listen here to the late Warren Zevon's "Werewolves of London": www.youtube.com/watch?v=qae259…

As always, let me know what you think in the comments below, PM/DM me if you'd like a commission made, and have a most wonderful day, everyone!

Now, this is my kind of werewolf. Much better than the human-looking one.

My thoughts exactly.   I know I ask this a lot, but any other thoughts or critiques?

It's okay, I don't mind since most that comment my stuff don't really critique me either but I don't have any myself about the werewolf. But I will say it's a nice take on your anthropomorphic character.

Understood.  I was a little worried about the shape of the mouth.

Nah, you're fine. You did the front face better than I can.

You think so?  I was going for a bit more realism with mine.

Well, I guess it is what it is.  I've tried finding some groups to submit this to, but haven't found a whole lot.

There are anthro groups that'll take this. I've joined most of them.
