Why, hello! This is the very first piece that I've done with a digital drawing tablet. It looks awful and I don't consider this to even be a good work of mine. This took me FOREVER to do, and I still had to upload it without even FINISHING it, and I'll explain why below. I decided that it wasn't worth the time. I made this to pay homage to my sister's birthday which was yesterday.

Now I need your help. I am very new to the art scene especially with digital art (I got my tablet 3 days ago, as of this post). Your critiques and helpful hints on what I can do in the digital medium to perform certain tasks to get a specific effect, are invaluable.

In short, what can I do better and how? How can I better make the transition from traditional to digital?
