This scene is inspired by the artist because not only are his ponies just adorable, but he treats them a lot like cats by having them do various cute things that would be biologically impossible for a pony to do.
Also you can see the book Twilight is holding was written by him "Why Pony Anatomy Doesn't Matter"

So apart from explaining the cuteness of the picture, I am genuinely proud of how this came out. I got to use a lot of colors I usually don't use, and experimented quite a bit on the mane/tail and fur, trying to make it feel more realistic than what I usually do.
