In my experience, most of my published ink work has been smothered in dark, heavy color. I'll invest a huge amount of time on a cross-hatch pattern or splatter effect, only to see it obliterated in the printed comic with muddy colors.
Your stuff complements Tim's ink line, and elevates the artwork to a higher level. Your color palette and values are superb! I hope you get gigs with these samples, and REALLY hope you'll be assigned to color over me someday!
