G.G-02's Weaponry

Arm Gun's:
Directly adapted from G.G-Zero, 02 also comes equipped with an effective set of Arm Gun's.

In opposite to Zero, 02's are much more precise and also have a much faste firing speed, to add to this they also come equipped with a much more dynamic set of ammunition with much more deadly round's, making the Mech adept at dealing with most threats with just its Arm Gun's alone.

Missile Launcher's:
Another weapon adapted from a previous model (this time, 01) are the large missile launchers on the Mecha's shoulders.

In opposite to 01, who only wielded customized Bunker Buster's and smoke grenades, 02 comes equipped with a wide range of different missile's at its disposal.

(Tracking missiles)

Unlike 01, 02 is equipped with missiles that, altough weaker than the bunker busters, have an advanced tracking system built into them making them able to chase after a target for roughly 5 minutes before they go ouf of power and explode.

(Tank Breaker missiles)

An adapted version of the Bunker Buster's, these "Tank Breakers" are specifically made to penerate tough skin, coming with an adapted missile head and specialized thrusters for both added speed and to further push when hitting their very effective at digging trough a Kaiju's flesh.

Fire Breath:

02's most famous weapon would arguably be its Flame thrower. The Flame's emitted can reach up to 800° celsius and can range in shape if 02 chooses to change the output shape (wich is smiliar to the forms you make cookies with) from a thin to a large one.

Another addition to this flame thrower is its abilite to shoot consecutive blasts of flames to be fired at a target (basically means it can shoot fire balls).

Other Mechanism's

Energy Core:

Directly taken from 01, 02 also comes equipped with an Energy core, however unlike 01 it's own is much more energy sufficient as it is capable of running 7 instead of 3 hours wich gives it enough time to work an entire day.

Advanced Tracking System:

An Enhanced version of the Detection Gear of 01, this Tracking System is far more precise and also posesses a greater range, allowing 02 to keep track of targets for long distances without loosing track.

More akin body:

Another change from 01's design is the 02 posessing feature's Hogotori originally posesses such as mimicing the avian leg bone's aswell as featuring a long prehensile tail with a dagger at its end.

Body improvements:
Another improvement from previous model's is 02's greater durability. This has allowed 02 to go head to head with Beta's as stronge as ONOMANE (who'm is able to crush steel with his jaws like bread), along with that it can also lift more than previous models even with it being lighter with its maximum lifting capacity being 25.000 metric tons.

02's durability meanwhile is also much greater than 01's while still being much lighter, this has allowed the Mecha to withstand blows from Kaiju's that can throw house's like a ball and punch trough solid rock.

02's most notably body improvement however would be its greater agility compared to its predecessor as it isn't restrained by either its own body or weight making it a fast and swift fighter in close quarters.

G.G-02's Weaknesses

Limited Ammunition:

Altough posessing far more powerfull ammunition and also a slightly larger limit, 02's ammunition is very quickly depleted forcing it to go into direct combat with its foe's.

Close-Combat disadvantages:

Altough 02 usually holds the greater advantage in a fight, this only remains when at a distance since 02, aside from its physical prowess and durability, actually isn't all that well equipped for close-combat. It's claw's aren't very sharp and along with that rather small, its bite force is considerably weak and it doesn't posess any teeth except two canine's with only its stinger proving to be a truly deadly weapon in close combat, this force's 02 to really brawl its opponents and risk damaging its weapons.

Risk of Overheating:

Altough 02 posesses a far greater Energy level than previous model's, it is notably vulnerable to overheating thanks to its furnace (to power its fire breath) aswell as its core having to power multiple parts of the body that require large amounts of energy, forcing 02 to not overdo it in a fight and slow down wich heavily conflicts with its need to be fast in a fight, especially up-close.

Personality
Like all older Mecha's, 02 also doesn't posess a possibility of its own, to compesate for this it is piloted by Standford Caesar who'd previously was the main pilot of 01. Coming from this 02's a very swift and hard hitting fighter with the occassional solo walk, however something different from 01 is its fighting style, as it copy's that of Hogotori or at least takes tactics from it. Caesar chose to fight like this to honor the fallen Kaiju and have its spirit live on inside its machine successor.

History

Following the huge success and unfortunate destruction of G.G-01 in 2001, the MCF decided to salvage the Mecha's remains and reconfigure them into a much more powerfull form, resulting in the construction of G.G-02.

G.G-02, eventually nicknamed Dyo by its immediantly chosen pilot, Standford Caesar, was equipped with more much powerfull and diverse weaponry based on that of the Horu's on the request of Standford and even Admiral Storm.

2002 finally saw the launch of the Mecha with huge success as it proved to be much superior to 01 thanks to its changed body type and advanced weaponry.

Altough a capable Asset on its own, the MCF eventually decided to construct a partner unit for G.G-02 wich was eventually released in 2003 in the form of G.G-03 who'm Standford jokingly referred to as its "bigger" bro.

G.G-02 proved to be the most succesfull Guardian Gamma ever (up until G.G-08) and was taken as the basis for all future models (with only 2 exceptions, specifically 05 and 08). With it being further used in the following years where it faced of against multiple different Kaiju's and even Dazara on a few occassions up until 2010 when it was brought into the German Headquarters to provide its memory core for Irondall's construction.

Ever since 2013 however, 02 has been brought back onto the field and is primarily used to work in China & Japan along with its partner unit where they, altough occassionally coming into conflict with Shouhushen, have seen great success and popularity.

A huge alteration however is the addition of a basic AI inside the Mecha that allows it to temporarily work on its own should its pilot (Stanford) ever go unconcious or be hindered in his actions, Stanford did however make a few enhancements to the AI allowing it to interact with its pilot and become more self reliant.

Similiar to 02, 03 also comes equipped with a powerfull flame thrower equipped in its jaws, in opposite to 02 however, this flame thrower is much more equipped for close quarters as it is well more equipped to damage a target directly instead of the more far ranged and dynamic version 02 uses.

Throat Launcher:

To compensate for not posessing any missile launcher's on its shoulders, 03 posesses a set of "Throat Launchers" that, while not being nearly as powerfull as the shoulder launchers, posess a decent amount of piercing and flashing ammunition.

Tail Claw:

Something directly inspired from Dazara, 03 posesses a powerfull claw at the end of its tail instead of the stinger 02 uses. This claw is very stronge and can throw almost as much as 03's massive arms themselves.

Other Mechanism's

Melee-Combat orientated:

Altough 03 is heavily lacking in the weapons department, it compensates for this in its pure physical power.

In opposite to 02, who was designed to be adapted for a large variety of enemy's with its different weapons, 03 posesses a very powerfull jaw and massive arms.

The Physical strength 03 posesses is very impressive as it can lift targets that are almost as heavy as itself (specifically 45.000 metric tons, so as heavy as 02) like a ragdoll, along with that it also posesses a powerfull jaw with a set of stronge teeth to bite trough its opponents like a sandwich.

Regarding its durability, 03 is very thick armored wich allows it to withstand heavy blows without harm. Along with that, 03 is also adapted to withstand stronge blasts with its internal adapations, making it able to not only stand directly in a powerfull blast without moving an inch but also easily overpower a target in close quarters.

Energy Core:

Like its partner unit, 03 is also equipped with an Energy core that like 02's allows 03 to work for 7 hours straight.

Unlike 02's however, 03's core is much better wired troughout its body, allowing it to fight much longer without the risk of overheating.

Tracking System:
Altough not quite as precise and long ranged as that of 02's, 03 still posesses a very precise Tracking System that allows it to keep track of a target for multiple miles without loosing track.

G.G-03's Weaknesses

Low Range:

Altough an incredible opponent in close quarters, 03 is extremely outdone when faced with a long opponents that can attack in on long range as it only posesses a melee orientated Flame Thrower and its missiles wich arent made to truly harm target but instead disorientate them.

Quadrupedal requirements:

Resulting from it posessing such massive arms, 03 is require to walk on all 4's (like a Gorilla) wich greatly hinders its actions on alot of occassions and while it is able to stand up on all 2 and even fight like that it is almost always needed to stay on all 4's to not damage its body.

Open Wires:

Something that was chosen to enable to dynamic movements, 03 posesses a huge open neck where alot of its necessary wires are located at wich makes damage done to them almost guaranteed, it was eventually chosen to strengthen them, however it still wasn't enough to compensate for the risk.

Limited Sight:

03 notably posesses a relatively bad vision, but not in the way thats its visors are bad but instead because of them being positioned on the side of its head wich greatly hinders its efficiency.

Personality

Similiar to 02, 03 doesn't posess a true personality of its own, however its pilot does give it an infamous one.

Ron Desmond was chosen for to pilot them Mecha thanks to not only his great grades and understand of the machinery but also because of his personality, this gave G.G-03 an unexpected fighting style since Ron is notably observant and carefull as not to damage 03 in a fight instead of being a brute like most think.

History

Following G.G-02's great success in the field, 03 was soon put into production with an emphasize on melee combat instead of 02's more wide ranged stylization, along with that it was prepared to be a partner unit for the Mecha as 02 was often outperformed in close quarters even with Caesar's great efficiency.

2003 finally saw the release of G.G-03 and a pilot was quickly chosen for it, this young pilot named Ron Desmond was soon enough assigned into a team with G.G-02's pilot, Stanford Caesar.

Altough G.G-02 and 03 came into conflict and we're rather clumsy in teamwork at first, they soon adapted with the friendship that formed between Desmond and Caesar wich eventually made them a force to be feared as they proved to be extremely successfull with G.G-03 going up close and 02 providing assistance and cover with its large arsenal of weapons.

03 saw a long time of success with its partner Unit as they became famous protector's of humanity, with Egypt eventually giving G.G-03

after the Mecha managed to fight Alupu off on its own when the latter rose from underneath the Pyramid's in 2009.

However 03 was eventually assigned to return to the German Headquarters like 02 to work as the basis for Irondall's soon to be finished body aswell as to provide its memory core.

2012 finally saw 03's return to action, however the Mecha din't prove to be as succesfull as it used to be because of the lack of 02 who'm was still in construction at the time, however 03 still managed to be a reliable protector of humanity and succesfully fought multiple Kaiju's off until it finally reunited with 02 in 2013. It wouldn't be long until Ron decided to give 03 a basic AI aswell as Stanford had done the same, giving him the ability to finally interact with his Mecha and become an even more succesfull agent.

03 and 02 have since been assigned to work in China and Japan where they often came into conflict with the native Kaiju's, notably Shouhushen, Onomane, and Furaiboku. However they are now more powerfull than ever and loyally protect the popullace against the rampages of the giant beast's.
