With all the responsibility he holds on his shoulders, there are times where stress and anxiety begins to take over Arias's mind.
In my world, angels start to pluck their wings when negative feelings overwhelms them too much. A broken heart, stress and depression are some of the big reasons. When you see an angel plucking the feathers off of their wings, that means they are on the path to killing themselves.
Luckily, Xenox was there for Arias.
He may hate everything and have some crazy episodes every now and then, but that won't stop him from protecting the ones he cares about.

Haha thanks! It's mainly inspired by how some parrots would pluck their feathers if they are over anxious as a result of their owners treating them badly ;3;
