The RDF ICARUS on it's maiden voyage travels past Ganymede.My very first model when I moved to Oregon almost a year ago. It is a Robotech Vessel. Basically a Refit Marduk Transport outfitted for exploration. I did this for a friend, who intends to do the deckplans and make some adventure scenarios for it. The timeline is after the Invid Invasion nearly 100 years after the Shadow Chronicals.
This model is the predecessor of the Archemedies (intended as the production version of this prototype vessel) and the Aurora. you can see they share many of the same parts. I recently upgraded the textures and a few parts to bring the old model up-to-date. Although it was a not as polished as the later models, I still like the lines and shape of this one.

Oronoco reminds me of "Murphy's War", where a U-Boat sails up the river, and a airplane mechanic makes it his duty to sink it.

Had some not so much fun with Carrara on saturday: tried for several hours, but did not even succeed in designing more than a simple cube. I think i need some serious practice and tutorials on this...

Of course!!! All my lil Babes are fully loaded! Though the Burlwood will cost extra, we import it from Vega Colony.
But I will throw in a Magic Fingers Massager in the Command Chair for gratis
BTW, interesting you ordered Rail-Guns. The two rear Turrets are Quad Railgun Turrets
The rounds are about 15" for each gun.
So, Lots of Boom Boom! We'll put one ina nose for you that can shoot VW Bugs at your enemy

Told you it was gonna get worse before it improved (my available time I mean) I am going on a 5 day trip tomorrow, Will maybe be able to check my e-mails and such sporadically. Will be having to fight one of my brothers for computer time while I am there

N.A.S.A. Stock footage. Often I look in Wikapedia, and search for things like "Saturn" and Black Holes and such. then I track down the sites where the pictures I want originated and see if it is public domain artwork. If it is I grab it and run real fast
If I do not give a credit for a BG, it generally means I got it this way and have no clue as to who made the art or took the photo.
