Amy: WHAT THE ******** IS THIS?! WHY ARE THERE LOTS OF MALE RANGERS AS EXTRA RANGERS? WHY CAN'T WE HAVE MORE FEMALES?!
Daigo: Um.....It's all Toei's idea.

Amy: Toei?!
Daigo: The Toei Company that makes us?!
Amy runs to the Toei Company Office to settle the score with the boss.
Ian: Are you sure about this Daigo because Amy will get fired if she kills the boss of the Company.
Daigo: I think we go help her out.

... True, but there are multiple supporting characters that are female. Like Nobu's niece and sister, Ulshade's granddaughter, Chandeleria is a fun villain, and it's not like having only one female ranger has never happened before, like in Go-Buster's. It's strength isn't in the amount of female rangers, but the strength of the character. Not that I don't agree that it isn't a problem, but it certainly isn't a bad series, and more female characters certainly doesn't always mean QUALITY characters, take for example Goseigers, they had the girly stereotype and the tough girl stereotype. With Go-Busters, we had a very perky fun girl who is a laugh and a half to half. While I do admit that Amy isn't perfect (for example the unicycle scene) but she is interesting and her interactions with Uchy are fun to watch. I say give it time to impress and if you aren't satisfied, just look forward to the American version, which probably will make one of them a girl.
