Yep. U know Gwen Stacy? Right?So thanks to the Spider Verse story Spider-Gwen is born. This makes me see more of Gwen Stacy BETTER. At first she's nothing but a plot device as an example of what happens to a person u failed to save. Is it? What do you think? I read her backstory saying she was the first love of Peter before her death.
Now seeing different versions of her I think I lost interest in Gwen after she got cloned and dead again, again, again. But in the Ultimate Universe the clone of Gwen still alive (THANK YOU). In the Amazing Spider Man Film she's a member of Oscorp? She's a PUNK High School Girl?, She's a Drummer Girl? See? Whenever Marvel put Gwen in a Spider-Man story she's what? I know she's a High School Student but what hobbies or job she gets? Just asking because these are the lists of Gwen from different realities and stories.
Now reading Spider-Gwen -This makes me see MORE of Gwen. ^_^ This is more like it. Marvel made Mary Jane into Spider-Woman.

The Ultimate Comics version of Gwen Stacy is the one I'm the most familiar with, and I've liked the idea that the detective/police captain's daughter was something of a rebel....
But the best version of Gwen is probably the original Gwen Stacy. Every other version is based off of her, and I wish I could read at least some of the comics that had classic Gwen Stacy.

I like Spider-Gwen, Spectacular animated Gwen, Ultimate Carnage/Gwen, and Emma Stone Gwen.
Spectacular Gwen I liked alot. She introduced me to the many Gwens made at the time and her history due to how I really liked her and decided to read up on her character because of Spectacular Spiderman Gwen. I also like that she is adorable, smart, and instead of being in the "in" popular and pretty crowd like most other versions she instead part of the three member friendship of Peter, Gwen, and Harry who are not popular in the social circles of high school. She's the most adorable and for me very lovable of the bunch of Gwens and sad that the tragic fate of the series was cut short due to red tape.
The 2010 movies I like Gwen due to how active, brave, and smart she is and she has great chemistry with Peter. The actress was fantastic and I hope that if Spider-Gwen series of comics is fantastic and does well that she will replay Gwen again in a Spider-Gwen movie however for that to happen it will have to be within 10 years or else she might be to older looking to accurately play the part then. I also like her MUCH better then that forgettable and no real characterization Spiderman 3 Gwen.
Spider-Gwen Love the outfit and I was a big fan of Gwen due to her history and the above two I just wrote thus she quickly had my interest. The more I discovered online that more she had my interest. Spider-Gwen is the very first comic I ever got with my money and I have no buyers remorse here. The art was beautiful and the style fit the world presented. The story was simple yet engaging and presented the character, her mindset, and the world and troubles she lives in to us excellently. I am very happy I got that comic (among the first prints and now keeping it in mint condition while using the marvel app to reread it in the future) and happy that her tales and world will continue and I might continue to pay to follow the comic series provided that the team making her continues to be great and tell engaging tales and character arcs.
When Gwen first famously died it was shocking to readers. Now it's excepted and shocking if she lives. Overall it is unnecessary to kill off good characters or constantly have her died simply because one version and legacy of Gwen did. I like Gwen and many different versions and representatives of her and different paths she took, and events happening around and to her making each one unique while having some shared traits shown. Some I like more then others (but the same can be attributed that ever single Marvel character as different worlds bring different versions some good and some not).
