This is so beautiful, it's a truly masterful & realistic sculpture. You have a real talent, & I can't say that to everybody!

Thank you!
It's on the small side--about 3 inches tall and maybe 6 inches long.

Awesome! You will dig the sample pack. I got mine in the mail yesterday (after I'd already bought the stuff I'm using now... I just wanted to see what their other clays were like). You will be amazed at how many different samples you get, and all you have to do is pay for shipping. Have fun!

Gotta love elephants...
Is there a superstition on whether it's good or bad luck to have the trunk up or down? Don't know why I need to know that...
Great work as always!
Take care

Thanks, Randy!
The consensus seems to be that a upward turning trunk is lucky, and that a downward turning trunk is unlucky. Guess it was lucky that I picked that position, eh? I had no idea before you asked that there was a superstition associated with an elephant's trunk. Learn something new every day!

You bet!
Just what you need...more crap to think about...Lol...
You are right about the upturned trunk.
I've asked a few elephant superstition experts that work in the field...(not really)

That's really pretty!
Damn I wish I could get into a good Clay Arts Class and learn all the techniques.

Thank you!
A sculpture class is a good way to develop skills, but you can do it on your own too! I took a couple pottery classes when I was 8 or 9 but I haven't taken any sculpture classes since. All it takes is patience, practice, and a desire to improve.
