This juvenile bald eagle went ice fishing and got himself a nice big meal.This photo won the local Alton Square Mall best eagle picture for 2010

While going for the kill is an awesome shot, I would think the nice catch is going to have less competition. Thats a moment few photographers would have caught on camera whereas a lot of them with big nice equipment may have gotten shots similar to your in-flight one. If I was a judge, nice catch would be getting my vote. Let's ask my friend... breaking-reality (also local).
