I have been through St. Louis many times and I still enjoy seeing the Arch from the highway. This is a beautiful perspective.
I mentioned to somebody else here that often begining photographerstake B&W photos because they think it's edgy or avant garde when in actuality they have pushed it past the point of cliche and made it a joke. It seems very rare now that a photographer can imbue a B&W photo with energy.
This photo does just that.

That is incredible, the lines and the texture on this are gorgeous. The way the shades on the arch look, it almost looks drawn, not like a photograph. It's gorgeous!

Ah, memories! I went to college at St. Louis University for two years, and saw this arch from campus every day. You found a good viewpoint and captured it perfectly.
