Yes, but for the last few years the winters have been quite "warm" in Southern Finland ( -10C to + 5C), we've had a lot of rains and very little snow. In Northern Finland the situation is totally different, it's really cold up there (over -20C) and the height of the snowdrift is over 1m in some places.
