I was re-reading the excellent Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher, and finally managed to put together a decent render of how the protagonist of the books, Harry Dresden sees Karrin Murphy, his best friend, with his Sight.No, Karrin isn't big, tall, muscular, sexy or pretty, but she's a cop, one that actually believes in the law she swore to defend.
This is dedicated to all of those out there who do the same, day in and day out, and don't expect to be thanked for it.

Yep, there was a halo/aura of some kind. And I'd note he did see Karrin as sexy and pretty, just that she tries to look professional so that she isn't 'perceived' in those terms.

Odd, I could have sworn it was only 'Bob' the spirit of intellect casting a halo around her head in 'Changes'. Then again, I am trying to capture the 'essence' of figures as opposed to every painstaking tiny detail from different scenes. And I respectfully disagree on the 'sexy'. More like 'cute', but even that she wouldn't say in her face. I am a fan of the series, but by no means to a degree of exacting details of every book. Appreciate your input--again, I'd really have liked your actual opinion on the art piece as it is.

Hmm, not sure where, but I'll look...and apart from that, what is your actual opinion. Is it completely worthless because there's no halo' as in medieval pictures of angels, or would the light I've placed to illuminate her head and shoulders suffice as the 'idea' of an otherwordly Light illuminating her?

Well, considering that she almost looked exactly like Harry's view of her in Changes, with Bob The Skull flying around her head acting as the halo...
Yeah, aside from that, it's an excellent job!
But where's her P-90?
