I finally got my Poser 8 up and running on my brand new computer (yay!) and this is the first new render I am really happy enough with to post (after my usual obsessive fiddling). An illustration to the upcoming Chapter 54 of my NWN2 fanfic, King of Shadows, Queen of Light, showing my two paladins definitely out of armor this time. I am especially pleased with the gentle changing of the light on their skin and the postures. And I hope people notice the lace collar on Casavir...!

i'm a bishop fangirl but i totally love this. my only complaint is the slight texture stretching on cas' shoulder, but i love the mood and expressions

Thank you, that's a great compliment... and yes, that texture kind of got all kinds of wrong. The mesh got distorted during conversion (I used clothing for a different model)... I'll have to see if I can fix it with another, finer weave...Yeah, give me an excuse to undress/dress Casavir...

That's so sweet! The touching foreheads is increadably well done and the lighting makes it look so real! I'll bet that was a pain in butt to get just so! Excallent work!

Thanks...I think there's potential in the G2 figures, but the V4 is so widely supported that it's difficult to work with anything else unless dedicated.

Thankies! I actually use SydneyG2 and James G2...very versatile and I could use the faceroom with them when I started back with Poser 7 to mold the faces. Alyson and Ryan doesn't impress me yet.

I agree. The Poser 8 models have very strange anatomy- like Alyson's shoulders. They're really oddly shaped. And Ryan looks so frail. Plus, there are barely any costumes available for Alyson or Ryan yet

I think they messed up the rations between head and body, myself. And Alyson has a weird chin... Ryan is like a tech geek. I stick with my G2 figures and V4 and M4 for the time being.
