Description Another Lilia piece to be sold as advertising for Parallel. This will probably be insert art somewhere. She's so purdy.

A return of her gunblade, a real invention from Germany back when it was popular to combine guns with other things - like axes and umbrellas! Also a more steampunk-y, nonsensical gun. Green and yellow are such fun colours. Perhaps more science-fiction-y than steampunk, but hey. Fine line, man.

Red hair is fun *-*

Such bright pretty colors! *_*

I love the flower on her gunblade, and the lock bracelet is neat too. Once again. I'm a fan of the pose. The proportioning is good, as are the hands. Although her right hand looks a tad off. Not much, just a little. Other than that, good work. ^_^

Thanks a lot! Her right arm is a bit too long, especially around the wrist, which might be why the hand looks off. I'm not sure if it was the pose that made the arm that long or if I just drew it wrong, lol.

I'm having so much fun with bright colours on these xD

That might be it.

Bright colors are a lot of fun! Sadly I don't seem to use them much. I should rectify that...

You should! I hadn't been using them much. But I have such pretty colours among my coloured pencils that I just have to find excuses to use them sometimes.

Well, this is awesome. And guns... I wish I could draw them, you make it look effortless. Any pointers for a less fluid artist?

Aww, thanks. Well, the big thing is having source material. The reference photo had two guns already in her hands, so I didn't have to do any guesswork with the angle of the guns. The energy pistol is basically just what was in the photo plus the sphere, and then the gunblade I had a separate reference for.

As for the actual drawing of them with the reference, the key is basic shapes, mapping out the overall shape of the gun, making sure the angle and size is right before working in the details.

Alright, thanks for the advice. I'm going to have to try it at some point in the future. I've got a character I've been itching to draw with a gun.

Thanks a lot! I thought it looked kinda plain, but I'm glad the colours meshed well together ^_^

Love the new icon, btw. Had to look at the sn to see who was saying this xD
