Description My first piece in awhile for Battle Artist. The Topic was The Crow, I decided to take a bit of a Miller bent on this. Its a fun style to play with, though I do reserve the right to come back and make some changes before the deadline.

You captured the Miller rainstorm perfectly. The damaged pose and the crypt behind him are visually very interesting. Strong work.

Thanks. Sometimes it's just fun to experiment. The Crow is one of those books I think Miller's art would shine on.

Thanks. I think the trick on this piece to was to think more about the white than the black. Reminds me of working with scratchboard back in high school. How the teachers feared setting a class full of high school students loose with X-actos.
