The detail of her uniform and hairstyle is excellent, but it's her expression that makes this picture come to life. You look into those eyes and can't help but wonder what she's thinking... even as you realise you probably don't want to know. It's that knowing smile. Maybe she's manipulating someone, maybe she's plotting something, but either way she knows something you don't. Much more intriguing than an outrightly "evil" expression.
The lack of shading on her face does make that part of the drawing appear a bit flat when contrasted against the hair and armour, but well... ballpoint. Either way I love this.

This is easily the best realistic drawing of Azula I've ever seen. Β It's faithful to her original design, yet adds that appreciable level of realism. Β I suppose she does look a bit soft, but that's okay, because she's being deceptive by it!
