Personality: Alexander is easy going and laid back, happiest when he's out in the woods doing what he likes best. He loves the challenge of trying to get close to wild pokemon and earn their trust, so that he can better see what their life is about and how they survive, as opposed to watching from a distance. As a ranger it's his job to ensure that everyone who enters the woods, pokemon and human alike, is kept out of sticky situations and receives help when needed. He knows first aid thanks to a long internship he did at Ivywood's pokemon center, a skill that comes in handy more often than he would like.
His first pokemon, Eivin, acts as his eyes in the sky, and is the most experienced of the bunch. All the other pokemon on his team are still in training.

In terms of hobbies, Alexander enjoys movies and gaming, and he can be often caught nerding over his favorite franchises to other people. He's not a huge fan of battling, he doesn't do it for fun or sport, but he will if the situation calls for it.
He's wary of fire types after he got caught in a house fire a few years back. No one was injured, and it was an accident, but seeing as the fire was caused by a fire type pokemon, he doesn't quite trust them.
