I kinda agree...For me I don't like those kind of people (speaking in real life terms) because I've been through a lot of crap with people, using me etc.
But at the same time I think it's really interesting, the concept of controlling others through a mirror. And honestly I love Toshie's design so it evens out for me.
(I can say I give more acceptance to characters than people lol)
