One of my favorite from your gallery, inspiring piece I would say. The grain of the paper gives me the sense of ground or wall contact but I have a feeling that if it was all smooth it could work out better. Depends of course of what you would like to provoke in it, might be just an effect from scanning or ps contrast increase but I feel that a more uniform white would contradict to the dramatic edges of the leaf, achieving a sort of balance. The centerpiece is already expressive enough with texture and especially the rich color so yeah, I hope you understood what I mean. Glad to know your thoughts on it, good luck with all!

Truly astonishing work, I love the shading and the delicately exposed nerves of the leaf.
The decay is a bit less to my liking, but it's not bad.
