For some reason the first file I posted isn't view-able unless you click on it. So this is a smaller version that should load...no promises....This was a commission for one of my favorite people to train dogs with. Its of one of his leaders, Serius (the brightest start in canis major). I actually have Serius right now because I'm about to start showing him for his AKC championship. 8 by 10 Done in watercolor and ink.

Stars look better when you use white, silver and gold paint. Try it

I use white a lot, but I haven't experimented all that much with silver or gold paint.

I live how the anatomical features of the wolf compliment everything. Just a suggestion, possibly use a bit more black. But it's amazing

Thanks for the advice! I'm experimenting with that type of background right now, so I'll give that try next time. I haven't got it quite right yet. It is an Alaskan Malamute owned by a friend of mine.
