Well, it's been awhile since I've felt so strongly for a draw-to-adopt character.

If I win her, she will be adapted into a mermaid/siren species. Man, she makes me excited!!
It really makes me happy and proud of myself for this entry though because I did draw her as a mermaid and humans are not my forté so it was really a push in my skills and I think that's why I like her so much.

Opulence, or "Opal" as she often called, is a mermaid/siren. Her agile and graceful swimming under the surface often produces a shimmering effect from her scales, hence her name. Despite her "nice" appearance, she is a cold-blooded killer. Opal's voice is beautiful, gentle, and completely aluring. Pirates and other sailors are drawn first by her voice but stay because her beauty can be compared to no other.

Not only is she known for serenading pirates but stories say that she has taken children too, the men are often killed and eaten (she has beautiful white fangs underneath that serene appearance), but the children's wherabouts are unknown. Legends say that she keeps them and raises them as her own and others say that she devours the innocence and youth to stay young. It's unknown as to where she lives, but she is often alone, not among other mermaids as the rest of her species seem to be.

Her personality is confident, sarcastic, and somewhat entitled. There's a small tribe of people that have claimed to have seen her, but consider her a force of evil and put up wardings and other rituals as if to keep her away. Luckily Opal is no spirit nor ally of evil, despite her cravings. She possesses the "Kiss of Death" which is how she ensnares her sailors.
