A commission for my awesome commissioner !
They asked me to design OC based on Leviathan from Monster Hunter ( never played it but this monster looks so much good) But also with an easter touch and with unicorn horn This is a coloured sketch.
It was challenging but so much fun to do!!

Hahah, I was gamer when I was child, I was obsessed with playstation xD but now there's no time for me to play games but I used to play Spyro dawn of the dragon with my boyfriend last year xD

Well, Monster Hunter isn't about much.Β Not usually much in terms of story with it, though it does occasionally have a few story elements (MH4 and the expansion, 4U, were the only ones that had some sort of plot).Β But, basically the point of the game is you accept quests and get taken to a sort of arena-like setting resembling various natural areas (forests, mountains, volcanos, etc.) so you can basically duke it out with large monsters.Β Then you can carve weapons and armor off them and fight even bigger, badder monsters later (a lot of them being dragons or wyverns).
That's basically Monster Hunter in a nutshell.

You would indeed guess correctly, mate; Mizutsune was indeed one of the biggest inspirations for her design (By far my favorite of the Monster Hunter Leviathans, but yeah, her design is only partially influenced by Mizutsune haha)
