Aw, thanks! Yeah, I've always liked the colour combination of orange and blue, and it's one of the reasons why Conker is so fun for me to draw.

I actually think I read somewhere that they decided to get rid of it because it would look out-of-place concerning Conker's attitude and everything.

Idk, I find it rather amusing in all honesty! Plus, it's messed up to imagine if, like, Banjo got the same treatment instead. Think about it, man. Think about it...

Also kinda related, it sorta reminds me of the fact that a Flemish comic series I've been following ever since I was little here, recently also got a gritty, adult reboot. But people, including long-time fans, all find it amazing, and the family-friendly version's still around as well. I think such a thing could work for Conker as well, as long as they make sure that it's two different things. Which... might be a bit tougher, concerning BFD and Twelve Tales have such similar art styles. I dunno I'm rambling

Actually Banjo is also pretty adult-oriented but they do it in a more subtle and hilarious way XD

Well, not adult-oriented, per sé. I mean, Banjo was mainly family-friendly, with some jokes that go past kids' heads, whereas Conker had things certainly not suitable for younger audiences and was a lot more in-your-face about it. So yeah, haha.

Personally, I think adult humor is way funnier when it's done in a way that goes past kids head.

Same here, actually - Conker's a notable exception for me 'cause he's got so much personality and character development. They really exploited the Rated M-thing to make him more believable as a character and that's something I really admire a lot. I mean, did you see him at the end of It's War, or the end of the game for that matter? Heavy stuff, seriously heavy stuff.

Yeah, the end of the game was really intense and depressing and it was the only part of the game that really felt dark and mature.
