I was gonna tell you guys sooner but I didn't know if I'd get the position or not... YES!!! I'm a mod in another group!!! QuQ

And I really couldn't be more thrilled! I told myself I shouldn't enter another group but when I think about it, I'm really active in two currently, Pearls of Paradise and VolSa so it's no big deal to be in another and this one just struck me as SO COOL!!!

At first I was going to go for someone older and realistic but then I thought what the hey, let's just have fun with it and I'm so glad I did because immediately as I thought that I came up with this guy and I really like him. C:

Hobby: Smoking, tinkering, lying, gambling and anything that sounds like it could be fun. He also gets a kick out of winding people up or making up dares for the other agents.

Personality: Valente is chatty, exciting and always ready for the next big mission. His devil-may-care attitude may irritate those in authority but when he's serious things get done one way or another. He always appears cheerful and easy to talk to but he's pretty hard to read. He's also a bit of a flirt - he really doesn't seem to care about settling down so he tends to make everything as uncomplicated as possible which is why he doesn't like people getting close or crying,etc. and avoids serious talks. Never one for standing still too long, his personality is always on the go and to be cooped up strangles his creativity and other such senses. He never admits when he's worried but worries quite a lot about those close to him, especially if they're younger. He has a big love of kids and can be quite the papa bear, protective (maybe too protective) and sweet despite what he might say. Val also tends to babble on when talking about electronics or technology - he is very particular about models and parts.

History/Background: Despite his current profession, Valente comes from a rather honest and humble background. His father is policeman, obsessed with doing the right thing and his mother, a teacher. As a boy there was little he couldn't do when he put his mind to it. Yet nothing really interested him. His parents rarely complimented him so after a while he didn't even bother trying. What interested him was the unknown, the exciting and the dangerous. And before long he fell into some bad crowds.

He and his father constantly got into fights but his mother always stopped them before it got too serious. For some reason, after a fight the only thing that'd cheer Valente up was tinkering. It was the one thing he found joy in that he wasn't told to do by someone else. Nor was it as racy as his other hobbies were. He had no real professional training, but he picked things up quickly. And when he was finally forced to work for a living, he chose a job that allowed him to tinker with electronics and tools even more. But his attitude had him fired and he fell into debt upon debt.

He didn't want to let his parents down (despite his actions) especially after all the money he'd already lent from them so he pretended he hadn't lost his job. In order to get the money he so badly needed, he began inventing items to help him steal - particularly bombs which he excelled at. They were easy jobs and for a while it was satisfactory. But on one job he got sloppy and triggered the alarms. Luckily he met an agent there who introduced himself as the chairman of a certain outfit that could use someone like him. Down on his luck and with little choice, Valente said yes. Yet despite how proud he was, Valente was never allowed to tell his parents. Once they realized he'd lost his job, they were even more disappointed in him; so disappointed that they'd simply given up and stopped expecting anything out of him. He's been with the agency for seven years now.
