Description
An idea presented in school - depict city - and i came up with this image, however using only traditional mediums, and young talent the image i produced was ok, but not what i wanted.Thus 2-3 years later we have a full revision of the image done in digital. The image explains itself, used poser 5, illustrator, photoshop, scans, and inspiration from David ho ^.^.

The lava is kinda screwed. Looks too 3D and sphere-warped.

it creates an awkard illusion of depth - and help emphasises the child - that's why i did it.

This is breathtakingly beautiful. I love the detail. I know it must have taken you forever!
I only have two suggestions. The first one is the clouds/smoke on the right need to be smoothed out a little, I think. They just seem a little too digital, whereas the rest of this doesn't have that "over digi" feel. Maybe just lower the opacity of them and flatten the shadows a little so they won't be so hard.
I really love this. The concept is gorgeous alone. Lovely work, and I hope my comments have only helped, not hindered.

This is a great idea. It has so many concepts to it.
The world is, after all young, but unlike an unborn, it has already lost its innocence.
However, there will always be both good and bad, and the complimentary colors show that, along with the struggle between modern buildings, and the much powerful nature, which is, unfortunately, losing.
Kind of makes me think of a cooler Matrix

this could relate so much to todays time
most people are overworked, society is draining them of everything
while others sit around and ennjoy life
