Haha, I suppose xD The ice claws are all she really has though. Frostnip is just trying to make Mayu sound cooler than she really is just so she doesn't feel that bad.

I know right? She's being patient because she wants both of them to bond, so she doesn't want to ruin her chances by going crazy on Mayu so suddenly. If she does finally lose it, Mayu will instantly know who's boss, or end up being discarded like a broken toy xD;

You know, you remember that "mother" of Frostnip you were talking about? Who was a giant woman who would appear in snowstorms? I'd seriously love to see a picture of her at some point:>

Not yet.
I do plan on adding more characters and do a bit more world-building around Mayu through flashbacks. But for the current situation, it's just those two for now.
