I've been playing Super Street Fighter 4 lately. Until I went online, I thought I was really good at what I do.To date, I have not acquired even one point of battle EXP. My pride as a veteran street fighter player has been trampled on. Its not everyday, that I find out I suck at a game.
Anyways, I decided to take a break and do something I don't suck that much at- art.

Thank you dude! I got this idea by the way Chun Li spins when she jumps. Its as simple as pressing up- mid jump she does a twirl.
I'm not sure if they kept that for SF4. But it was defo in SF3. Loved the animation. it was the little things about Chun Li that I found hot.
Chun-li needs a new spinning bird kick 
Though I have a new love now in SF4- Juri.

I agree that Juri is a hot chic. Though there's still something awesome about Chun-Li that might be known to only a few. That is her ultra called the "hozenko" cannot be hit by fireballs except that of Dhalsim's and Guile. So when your up against opponents like Ken, Ryu, Sagat, Sakura, Dan, Akuma and Gouken they better watch out for that!

Thats pretty cool. Sure is news to me. I like Chun Li's second Ultra more though. Her "hozenko" keeps getting blocked for me. But I guess its still pretty useful.
Even though I like Juri now, I'll always remember Chun-Li as the first world's strongest women. Plus, she has superior thighs.
In all honesty, Juri is like an evil Chun-Li (I wonder if you remember shadowlady?). So far no one has even come close to Chun-Li's coolness. Viper was a big disappointment.

Only got the first version of SFIV. Never have challenged anyone online (don't have my own internet). But I surely am unstoppable with Chun-Li using the hardest difficulty level and I even increase the number of rounds to 7. Though whatever is the outcome when I challenge someone who is an expert, I don't wanna know because I know how it feels before you happened to make this art of yours.

SFIV only? Sounds like someone's living in the past. But in all honesty, you're not missing much... except for the hotness that is Juri!
But I know what you mean, sometimes its best not knowing how good (or bad) you are at a game. Judging by the fact that you can play at the highest difficulty, I can safely say that you're better than me
Do you play tekken by any chance? I'd like to see rigged models of some of those characters.

I'm hoping that a pc version of SSFIV comes out soon. Speaking of living in the past I'm also hoping that a pc version of 3rd Strike would also be made because I think it's got the best Chun-Li version ever! (well at least in a game cause I also liked the one in cinematics where she's up against Juri)
Well, If you think so... I guess it's just through practice... and passion also.
Honestly speaking I like the game very much but never did laid my hands at it yet because I was and still am very occupied with SF.

Sounds like SF has consumed your life! Your love for Chun-Li is admirable.
If they have a pc version for SF4, they probably have one for the super version.
If you like 3rd Strike (which I do also), you can get all the characters via mugen for your pc. Please tell me you've played mugen. Here a nostalgic video from youtube of mugen [link] . SF3 Chun-Li is in there somewhere. For more detail you can ask me. I used to script my own mugen.
Yeah, vid cinematic of Chun-Li v Juri was epic. Loved the ochestral score in it.

I agree that Ibuki is hot. But the thing with 3D graphics is that there are characters that was well done and others not very well done. Example of characters that look nice in 3d (in my opinion) are Sakura, Rose and Juri. I admit that Chun-Li is one of those characters that don't impress me that much. Don't get me wrong, they've done a good job with her but I really expected to see a 3rd strike look-alike of Chun-Li. (good thing I'm not the art director
Ibuki, well yeah... they've done a nice job but the face is a bit altered.
But with Juri, she just looked awesome! Very anime! Very wicked!

as for playing SSF4 online, I know what you mean... I've been playing SF since the old SNES days, and my best characters are Ryu and Chun. Seems like everyone I played against online uses a specific strategy to fight Ryu and kick my @$$. Then I pick Chun, and they don't know how to fight against her... like as if they were playing SF for the first time of their lives (no BS)... and I win almost every time with her (or maybe i'm a better Chun player than Ryu?). So maybe you don't suck, it's just a gimmick they use to win against certain characters you play as. I dunno...
Anyway, awesome job on Chun!

You've played since SNES? Similiar, it was the Mega drive for me. Ryu and Ken were always my fav. But in SSF4, I only use Juri online. I spent hours practicing her combos. For that reason, I've become rather obsessive about winning at least 1 match. Against the computer, I'm unstoppable. Her kicking combos look good on screen. But are worthless once someone figures out when to block.
Maybe, you're right. Perhaps its about time I choose another character. But then again, I don't want to be one of those players who just spam with Akuma.

There's nothing really that 'super' about this newish Street Fighter game. The only plus is that it balances a very strong male cast with a few more female characters.

I heard the barrel-breaking, car-smashing stuff was fun though.

The car-smashing was fun. The barrel-breaking is annoying as hell.
If you don't time your moves, contact with the barrel with topple your character. Its not uncommon for your character to trip over after one barrel and then fall over repeatly as the barrels come down.
