Let me be frank with you, buddy. You don't play LoL for the community (it's so toxic you could poison a volcano). You want community, go play Dota (trust me, it's really good). LoL has fanservice female characters (not unlike the newly released SMITE, but SMITE have a good explanation for their fanservice (lore, legends, actual interpretions of gods and goddesses)), and that's pretty much all there is to the game. But see if you can't find a friend to play with, it makes the game so much better to go in a lane with a friend and try to kill someone. The game isn't neccisarily hard in the common sense of the word, it's more hard because of how mean other /slightly/ more experienced players can be. I am new to LoL myself, I usually play Co-op vs. bots, beginner level, and other players have thrashed at me for not being as good as them, only because I died two or three times. It's just... Toxic. But ignore the haters and bashers, because sometimes, you'll find a player who's actually kind and helpful, and will give you an advice or two on the way. Those people are godsent, but they are few and far between.
Also, Dota has a better management when it comes to money and its champions. In Dota, all heroes/ champions are available to you from the get-go, and it even has a test mode in which you can use console commands to give yourself money and try out different itembuilds (combine items and try to find the combination that works for you and the character you play as) without having to worry about losing. In LoL, they let some champions be free every month or two weeks, allowing you to play as different characters. You earn IP (Influence Points) for each battle, and you can buy champions and runes with the IP. You don't really lose anything on spending IP, since you can always earn it up again by playing a few matches, but it's kinda ridiculos how some champions cost so astronomically more than others (Let me put it in perspective: one match can earn you something between 75 to 170 IP. The cheapest Champions cost 450 IP, whereas the most expensive ones cost up to 6000+ IP). Or you can use real money and buy Riot Points (Don't. At least not before you have at least 7000 IP and have played the game a bit.). I should mention that there is nothing wrong in buying champions and trying them out with IP. It's actually very fun to start out with a new champion, and then gradually master him/ her over time, until you can just swoop through the battlefield with Ahri's Spirit Rush or cheat death with Tryndamere's Undying Rage (he literally becomes so angry that he can't die. If you are about to die, activate Undying Rage, run away, and heal up with either potions or the Summoner Spell Heal before Undying Rage ends, and you'll be fine).
LoL, however, is more lighthearted and is more of a... Shall we say, childfriendly version of Dota (if you look away from all the blatant fanservice in LoL which I, as a male, am both grateful for and weirded out by). It has fewer mechanics than Dota and has simpler terms, but is still a very strong game. If anything, try both LoL and Dota, and see which you like. I advise you to play at least ten matches in each game before deciding wheter you think it sucks or not.
Moba style games are a genre of their own and should not be looked down on. They are highly competitive, requires strong teamwork and can be very fun if you play with a friend. Just try not to take other people's kills. No one likes a killstealer.
Good luck!

I actually worked for Riot for about a month, only explanation for the fan service female characters was that "sexy" sells.. which that's an obvious duh... nobody would really want an average looking character.
Personally I preferred Kayle, she fit with my whole "crusader" mentality. Not to mention she's a completely badass character, in the right hands she can practically solo the opposing team, assuming she's been fed and outfitted.

My job title was "Support Specialist" So basically when you put in a support ticket, it's like a bureaucracy. It would go to the team in Austin Texas who were quite frankly garbage and useless. They got iced out for someone else I think, but that was after I left. Then there was the regular support staff, like Billing, Tech, Account Theft, etc.
I was part of a team that wasn't specialized, we just helped take on the bulk of the tickets that other departments were overflowing in. Our team name was called the "Ninja Squad" or something like that, just 3 or 4 people including myself that took on many tickets in numbers and solved them quickly and efficiently. If we couldn't figure it out, we'd pass it to someone who could.
I personally solved a few dozen account thefts.

Normally that kind of thanks should be reserved for military servants.
In any case that was all in an afternoon's work. Breaking an account theft case apart wasn't so difficult. Mostly just some common sense and logic as well as analysis of account access vs IP. Just establish a quick timeline of when the original owner had custody, then see where they lost control, and where it eventually wound up.
Had a customer from Hungary/Romania border region who had their account stolen by some dude in Germany, who then sold it to someone in the Netherlands, who after purchasing said stolen account, bought Riot Points for it! So as an added bonus of getting the account restored to the original owner, we also let him keep the Riot Points, got approval from my supervisor for that one.
I no longer work with them anymore, but I can tell you it was a fun job.

well, when you play a champ, you don't really care that much on how he/she looks in game I mean, if you like lol just for the "fanservice" don't even play it, you can just brows DA and watching all the pictures about it ^^
