So I've recently been playing Record of Agarest War, and I've totally fallen for Fyuria. Tsundere with silvery purple twintails and daggers. Plus Dazzle Blade is awesome.Related content

Since I only have a PS3, no Xblocks, I had to get a copy of this from EU. The translation is somewhat lacking in parts and the first generation's dialog seems like it's missing key plot ties or even conversation ties. It just doesn't transition well. The tactics part of the game is all about lining up your characters in a way that they all connect in a special chain and have the character with the highest agility (usually it's Fyuria for me), leads off the entire fight and her speed makes all your characters attack when she does. I must say, she was the first girl I picked when going through the generation one act.
Record of Agarest War is a fun game, I'd give it a 8/10, only because the combat is very repetitive and the music sounds like variations of about 20 different other game's music.
The picture you made though... it's great, although dazzle blade looks a little different - not really dazzling at all, just her beating repetitively on the same guy in heavy hard hits then rushing past the monster and a bunch of unseen hits happen to finish the attack.
More Americans should check out this JRPG!

I've had a hard time remaining hooked on the gameplay, but not a hard time getting hooked on the girls, and Fyuria is definitely my favorite

Yeah Agarest's gameplay can get old. On the other hand, I was pleasantly surprised to find that some characters I didn't think I'd like really grew on me.

When I finally do get around to buying a commission, you'll probably enjoy it because the character I have in mind is much like Fyuria in so many ways, in terms of shape, style, and attitude. And I conceptualized her BEFORE I even knew about Fyuria.

Uhm, no promises, but it's definitely something I've been considering since I played the first generation... It might happen someday
As for what I used, I did most of the drawing and coloring in PaintTool SAI, with postwork and effects in Photoshop.

Ah, well. Could have something to do with the brush settings? Are you talking about the lines being pixelated?
Also, working at higher resolutions makes the lines look smoother when you downsize it.

I did furry and pokemon art in a more painterly/semi-realistic style, then decided I would work on developing an anime style for myself. I've been focusing on the latter lately, and have been shifting my style around in an effort to find something I'm happy with.
