More art for Shadow HeroesFaced with ongoing barbarian attacks from the north and continuing threats to the kingdom, the eight Sorcerer Kings of Hendrika devised a plan. They would use an artifact of immense power known as the Amber Globe to isolate the nation from outsiders forever.
It worked. Sort of.
The spell ripped Hendrika violently from the surrounding continent. The grand kingdom was wracked with earthquakes and deadly magical storms as it tore itself free and rose high into the sky. By the time the landmass's ascent had come to a halt, entire cities had been leveled and countless lives had been lost in the calamity that came to be known as the Great Rift.
Hanging suspended above the clouds, Hendrika was forever free from foreign invasion. Or what was left of it, anyway.
