85%Β of the taller buildings are 3d and ps painting. I used matte painting and photo background images. The sky is painted in ps with a wacom tab. Glad you like it

Hey Scott! Thanks for getting back to me. I wont' be ready for any cover art for a little while yet, since I've already finished the first book. I'm almost done writing the second and will start the thirdΒ fourth in the series. But I love your work, so aside from using you for future cover work, I'd like to have some good pics for my web page. So perhaps you can answer this question since Deviantart is taking FOREVER to get back to me. If I purchase a picture from you, what rights does that give me in terms of displaying it? Am I allowed to use them for background images on a web page, for example?

Actually, I love a LOT of your images. I'm particularly interested in futuristic cityscapes, so that is what I would be purchasing from you. As we discussed before, I am trying to line up some artists for future cover art for my novels. I'm not ready for this to start, but I'd certainly like to nail down the artist(s) as far ahead of time as possible. How much do you charge for your work? I'd need a full cover, front, back and spine. It would be a future cityscape, much like the fantastic work you've already done. --CJ

$300-$500 for a new image for your cover. about 5 k width by 2.5 k. I would take about 15-30 Β hrs to complete.Β

Rich, thanks for the reply. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I was out of town for a couple of weeks for work. 300-500 is certainly reasonable. In fact, judging by the quality of your work and the fact that I'd have input into what you did, I won't be paying you a penny less than $500. If you'd like, I can pick out a few of your images that I really liked, just so you can see what I'm after in terms of tone/feel.

I wish the Earth looked like this, and be all High Tech, we live in the Technological age but I see no changes to streets or cities, nothing. We have technology but no upgraded cities, Flying cars are already developed, lets see some change, lights and everything. Does anybody here agree with me that, that is ridiculous.

i think i liked anothe version better (a less colorful one) but it still is such great work!!!

I liked the other version just as much, but the film team wanted more building as the actors looked out the building windows. the actors and window will be added later in post.
