Designed as a custom ship for a modification for the freeform space trade/combat game X3 Reunion.The Yaki is X Universe organised criminals, based on the Yakuza and the Mafia.
'The X Universe became a much more dangerous place when the Yaki crime syndicate revealed the latest vessel to their arsenal. This M7 frigate is designed to provide heavy firepower which enables Yaki raiding parties to take on heavily armed convoys where they were unable to do so before. The design is clearly Paranid in nature confirming that it was the Yaki that stole the plans to their proposed M7 frigate and killed its designer.

Nice to meet another X-Universe gamer here. I like the ship, though I would submit that it looks more like a Split design than Paranid. (My flagship in X3: Terran Conflict is a Split Panther, the M7 with 32 fighters.) Maybe it's the viewing angle throwing me off (maybe it looks more Paranid from above), but I'm just not seeing Paranid in it.
Question though: I've only played Terran Conflict. In X3TC, the Yaki have an M2 battleship class (Akuma) and two M1 carrier classes. Did they have these in Reunion as well? I ask because of your comment on heavy firepower; it seems to me an M7 is meant to provide fast, midlevel firepower. (One thing I do know about Reunion is that the only vanilla M7 is the Paranid Hyperion Vanguard, which was downgraded to M6+ in TC with the development of mass-produced M7s by all races.)

if I would draw something else besides my characters it would be ships and transportation
and I'd wish they'd be as good as this one
