Still working on this costume
[started working on it since they first released the teaser trailer,Ive been "remastering the original" since its been so long now that ive come up with better ideas and most of all the sake of accuracyIve used a plethora of materials such as craft foam,posterboard,velcro,clay,feathers,different kinds of glue and acrylics

My question is, is the craft foam enough durable to do it? I mean I always pictured craft foam armour as one time use only. Now you worked with this can you tell me how does it lok like?

durability with craft foam is very shaky >.> Im hoping to get some sort of rubber coating that wont heat up and melt it lol! it looks good and it can take any shape pretty well,its also very lightweight ,Yuurisan was also the 1st to make really good use of craft foam for this cosplay :3 ! as you can see on this photo

Cons with craft foam are :coating for paint takes forever,you need various coats of transparent glue and paint to make it that nice armor color,if you smack it against something really hard you might damage the surface XD ,and easily the most worrisome one is having the ability to "tear it" this foam is very prone to tearing if you pull on it and it has clips attached to it or something is glued on it most likely it wont come off XD
The good things are how it holds up shape,lightweight,easy to style and cut.
You could add some backing to it if you really wanna extend the life of the craft foam because it warping will become less of an issue >.> I had posterboard cut out to the exact same shape and thats what gives it the most sturdiness
Me personally if I could make this armor out of something (or commission it )durable it'd probably be something like :

if I had this then this armor would definitely be indestructible
Craft foam looks good but takes a lot of skilled hands and dressing up to do to conceal the fact that its foam XD ,now I know you have magic hands
