First hint of the next series I am doing.I really loved Firefly and like many others eagerly awaited Serenity.
This will be my tribute.
The full crew, eight portraits in total.
Ultimately forming a single compilation.
Yes, I'm crazy.
I wasn't going to post this until it was finished, but I am delighted how 'shiny' it is looking so far. I think it almost is a piece in its own right.
The finished piece will be the whole reference photo this is taken from.

yea when I got the dvds for the show and movie- I made alot of my friends watch it with me. I think they found me more annoying then anything else.

for some reason, I really like it as is here... The faces are very captivating. The finished piece looks amazing too, but I love that all the focus is on their faces here.

Hi Marcus. There are no plans for more Firefly that I know of, I am afraid. As to more movies, I don't expect that either. It's easy to watch them altogether and so very enjoyable.

Seriously, I loved these characters so much. I can never decide if that is because they only appeared for such a short time and I didn't get time to tire of them, or whether Joss Whedon really is totally brilliant.

How marvelous! And, actually, ironic. A friend of mine came to visit for the weekend and brought the entire first season of Firefly with her. I just watched most of them last night!
This is gorgeous! The expressions, the depth, the EVERY SINGLE LITTLE DETAIL, it is all beautiful. I can't wait to see the finished piece!
