Description
Burnt Umber, Light Turquoise and very Warm Red. The owl I photographed at the
Gooseberry Falls Interpretive Center (Lake Superior's North Shore) , but after a taxidermist did his/her work.
WATERCOLOR on Cold Pressed Paper β’ 16x22" image size.

paint-by-number...it was intuitive dabblin'....gritting my teeth

It's tight and real, compared to the blob of abstraction
on the right of it......maybe it's the contrast that

Oh yes! I love the detail by it, it's a nice way of making a tree. Did you have a plastic la on it to make the shapes?
Owls seem to be very popular right now. I've always had a soft spot for them.

that are a good, if not the goodest, owl, in owl history and future. There are also more goodest owls but right now THIS is the good owl. I like the stick. Sticks are cool and good. It is very pretty. Thank you
