I love the detail you captured, and by having him centered really makes his eyes the focus of the photo. The purple flower he is own complements well with the background color, which is nice and not distracting. Great dof, I really love the details - it is so cool to see the individual hairs and other things you normally can't see, but photography can show you.
I also think that the square compositiong works really well with this piece. I think it's also nice that even though it is centered, the points of interest are not in the center such as his eyes and legs... and the flower too. Really nice job! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/c/c⦠" width="20" height="20" alt="

You're welcome. I like giving them though I don't like that they have to be so long all the time.

Outstanding. Such a great photograph, especially since the spider is only 5mm!! I actually don't like spiders, but this photograph makes them look so cute and friendly!

Normally i'm scared stiff of spiders, but you seem to get photos that make them look less scary!
Great photo!

The image looks awesome. Almost as if the spider is not about to jump, but is knitting!

Amazing photo!! The fine detail is just incredible.
Like a couple others have mentioned normally I don't care for centered composition, but this is one of those cases that really works. I think that his (or her) leg position helps. The lack of complete symmetry helps it to not be static.
And then there are the beautiful (and nicely contrasting) colors and values. The clarity and darkness of the eyes really help bring them out as the focal point.
Masterful job!!
