You can't look at this photograph without saying 'Wow!' at least one time. The timing is perfect and I can only imagine how long you must have been waiting, watching the heron hunting for food.
The low position and the leaves in the foreground really makes you feel like you're being there, witnessing this yourself. For some reason these leaves also make me feel like I'm just a couple meters away from it.
The colors are great and the depth of field only makes the heron and the frog stand out even more. The light is great and looks really warm.
I agree with this being very deserving of a daily deviation, but a) I can't feature DDs anymore and b) your last one was within the last 6 months e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="
