Description
This is a base card for the upcoming CONTEMPORARY PINUPS JAM trading card set. Completed on 8x10 off-white paper, she's rendered in COPIC markers, acrylics, white ink, and colored pencil. I then moved the art into Photoshop, and added the background and desaturated the COPICS. I wanted a more faded, worn look to the final art.A friend was kind enough to allow me to model off of her, so props for that.

I really like this piece. I love the dated theme of the model (glasses, blouse, and pearls), very 1950's with the peek-a-boo pose so uncharacteristic of that time period. Great work!
