Description
This is a Heroes Con 204 pre-con commission, and is based upon a model kit, with an image provided by the client. It's depicting a part of the penultimate battle scene from the classic 1964 Mothra v Godzilla. I think the greys work really well here, especially in context of the age of the film. Sort of fives this a newsreel feeling. 11x14, Copic markers, colored pencil, white ink.Related content

This was the best movie in all of the Godzilla kaijus
Eventhough Mothra was dying she still managed to fight Godzilla to protect her egg eventhough he still wound up blasting her with his atomic breath ray

(spongebob and patrick , who have somehow turned giant , and are tracking Godzilla , find him attacking a factory) spongebob : there he is patrick : he's hideous he makes me sick just lookin at him those big buldgie eyes those weird spikes and that stupid tail spongebob : he's heading this way now's our chance on the count of 3 we jump out and suprise him patrick : oh boy a surprise party is it his birthday (Godzilla explodes from behind the mountain and picks up spongebob) spongebob : PATRICK PATRICK DO SOMETHING patrick : happy birthday (Godzilla throws spongebob aside and Patrick picks up a truck and shows it to godzilla) patrick : here's your present (Godzilla bashes the truck on Patrick's head) Patrick : youre welcome
