Heavy with color and emotion. Just looking at it weighs you down. I don't know if I'm pulling through the white so much as to that patch of blue. Great job.

ambiguous. it has a strong impact but somehow i don't like it. i have problems with realistic faces/bodies in pictures anyway, so it is not surprising that this piece goes against my inner grain (can i say that?). plus the white is too white and the black too black. the fact that you can't really decide which face you want to see is impressive, though. like the old optical trick with the young naked lady and the witch, which i am sure you know.

most acceptable! you see what is there--the strong black and white, the competing faces (yes, like the young lady/witch)--but your reaction is different from mine, there is no arguing about it. thanks for saying more. i'm glad it had an impact rather than being nondescript.
i like the way the white is obviously paper, showing the substrate of the image as it were, that is an interesting effect to me, to see construction and image at the same time.
("inner grain" makes sense to me.)
(and don't forget the third face, the grinning dog at the bottom, in right profile.)
