Thank you, Kristijan! Yes, when I added *weedlace 's scrap I saw that this piece was finished. And she had no idea I was going to use it!

good eye - Fred actually gave me the piece at the top (with the forehead), though the cuts in it are mine. this piece is about three-quarters *DroopingSanityFences , half Fred, and half me.

WOW! THANK YOU - I'm thrilled about the dedication!
This might be your best yet - I love the blank sign cutting off the face, the colors, everything.
Most excellent.

This one also gives me the feeling that the children are being shielded or kept hidden from knowing something.

They are looking - their attention is being held - but there's a lot they are not being told. The question is whether it's for their own good - or who might think it was. A lot to think about in this piece, more than I was thinking when I assembled it, really! But somehow these things come in.

and thank you - i had those children for a while, was sorting scraps a couple night ago and this piece came together. and i did like using these colors after all the plain ones!

The boots must fit amazingly well. They were made for walking.
I really find your art like watching a tightrope walker - I know they are not going to fall, but there is that hair-raising small thought that keeps one alert to the possibilities, if not the probabilities.
This one resonates, and is a Gem. A Good Thing.
Thanks for showing it.
Best regards
Dibb

take heart, T - it says "assembly procedure" at the top - things and people are going to come together, even if there are some sad situations.

This is fabulous. The blank screen. The colors. The antique snip. The vintage. Oh, yeah, and that handwriting! Ha!
I love the literal in this, by the way, but the composition is NOT literal, if that makes sense. Walking a fine and rare line there, my friend, and it is really great to see.

Oh, thanks so much, Weeds! I know that line you mean, and that's what I was trying for - Emily walks it in toe slippers, I felt like I had boots on. Or vice versa, depending on which comparison is more flattering to her!
