Thanks much. It was actual flu, type b. I've never gotten the vaccine before but I'm thinking maybe next year I will. Or - be very careful about being with people. The virus went around in a singing group my wife belongs to.

I've never gotten the vaccine because everyone I knew that did got the flu. That's just me, I've only had the flu once and it was incredibly miserable.

That's the thing about the vaccine, it's made by guessing what flu strains are going to come along, and if the guess is wrong
