it was a wonderfully pleasant day - looking at this shot takes me right back there

it's funny, i think of my preferred shots as industrial and grunge. but this loveliness in the woods was too good to pass up.

oh, i thought it's too clear to be reflection!!
you know, i am convinced that our "preferred" shots is what life offer us, usually. and by life i mean the inspiration of the moment, the place, the frame of mind, etc...
i didn't happen to "love" underwater photos. i happen to have the camera, and most important, a bathtub big enough to let me do them.
if i move to a new house, i might stop doing self portraits, did you think of that?

the water was shallow and very still and the sun was at a certain angle - you could stand over the pool looking down and totally believe it was a hundred feet deep.
and yes, i see what you mean. a pathway appears and we follow.
ah! you stopping self portraits would not be good at all! 
but i will not go on to say "never move" - there would be another path and i bet there would be some kind of selfs on it.
you do have a great artistic bathtub right now though, it's true

next step, a house with a jacuzzi!
though seeing how things are going right now -this is the third day in a row without work (can't reach the clinic)Β we might have to move to a cabin in the woods, take showers with a bag of plastic hung to a tree branchΒ
