I have seen collages where the pieces used are not changed very much, and do most of the aesthetic work in the piece. I always try to make something new with composition and alteration.

Hey - hope you're getting by okay as we all try to avoid Covid-19.
My city is partly shut down. No movies, gyms or restaurants, except for take-out food. I've been mostly in my house all week. School buildings closed, my grandsons being sent lessons online. Trains running but no one on them.
