Tested a ton of things I've never tried before. Seemed to work pretty well! Loki is dressed as the TARDIS!

David nervously patted the black stallion’s neck, fiddling with the girth and costume to ensure it was well placed and tight. Tom had asked him to help, of course he was never one to say no. Let alone being able to wear his old Doctor Who costume. That is what really caught him when Tom explained his costume idea for the contest, Loki as the TARDIS, and himself as the Doctor, specifically Ten. He exhaled to calm his nerves before mounting Loki, who pawed gently at the ground.

They walked to the gate, waiting for the music cue. The beat starts and Loki jumps gently into a piaffe, leaning forward into the arena to a passage. “It’s astounding… Time is fleeting…” Loki heard the lyrics start and alongside the beat he changed his lead leg as they extended into a canter. “I remember, doing the time warp!” They quickly moved to the side in a half-pass, reaching his legs out to a cantering flying change. They paused in the corner, slowing to a piaffe, and pirouetting at the trot, bringing them to face the center of the arena. They stopped at the center of the side of the arena as the music paused, “It’s just a jump to the left,” Loki leapt to a flying change to the left, “…and then a step to the r-i-i-ight.” Loki did a small half pass to the right, back to center. “Put your hands on your hips.” He lifted his legs to a standard piaffe, “And bring your knees in tight.” His gate paused to lift into a levade, and as the next lyrics came upon them, he jumped slightly into a courbette hop. About 4 hops before he landed on all fours and completed a canter pirouette.

The music felt a change and Loki did too, extending his legs to an extended canter, changing his leading leg several times, circling the arena. “With a bit of a mind flip.” Loki stopped near the center and danced a piaffe. “You say it’s got a sensation, ow! Like you’re under sedation…” He reared into a levade before leaping into the air, striking his rear hooves out as the music did, “Let’s do the time warp again!” After recovering he extended his legs and made a figure eight of the arena at an extended trot. Heading to the center rear of the arena and pirouetting twice in two directions. They paused, completing the instructions again, “It’s just a jump to the left. And then a step to the r-i-i-ight.” They reared into a levade and bounced to a courbette for about 5 hops. They did another capriole, before attempting an in place piaffe with front leg extensions. Ending it with a bow. The pair went gently trotting out of the arena, David trying his hardest to not dance on the way out. Let alone already having fought the urge in the arena.
