Backstory: Made by a person named Dark Phantom, Shadow Richard was made in the dark mirror world to invade the overworld and destroy Richard and Phantom. But since Dark Phantom also used him as a puppet, beat him for screwing up, and other stuff, Shadow Richard had enough of him and attacked him. He didn't win the fight, and ran from Dark Phantom. Once he made it through the mirror world, Shadow Richard had found an artifact named the "Shadow Amethyst". He didn't know what it did at first, but then he realized it can be used to control shadows and use it as a weapon. Drawn by it's evil, Shadow Richard equips the crystal to both of his hands, and reaches the overworld to find Phantom and Richard and destroy them, because he wants to conquer the world for himself, instead of helping Dark Phantom conquer it. But he also wants to take out Dark Phantom.
